Sign stealing must stop in Ramapo(Journal News September 30, 2007) Sign stealing must stop in Ramapo I would like to thank the hoodlums who have been driving their cars onto homeowners' lawns in order to remove Preserve Ramapo's signs. Their cowardly thievery just serves to confirm the power of the messages they seek to destroy, namely "Save Our Town" and "Stop the Building." These signs are apparently so much on the mark, they have been deemed deadly by Preserve Ramapo's opponents and must be removed at all costs. I wonder if these hooligans have considered that every time they steal a sign and damage someone's lawn, they not only violate the law, but also help spread Preserve Ramapo's message. Ruth Lehmann
