Platform

We propose:

A one-year freeze on high-density building while we conduct a real study of traffic, sewers, and water as they are related to population and growth.

A new Master Plan that is acceptable to the entire community and that re-evaluates Adult Student Housing.

Re-examination of all tax exempt properties.

A town government that preserves our community and the value of our homes.

Single-member town board districts so everyone will have a voice at Town Hall.

We know:

Uncontrolled growth equals higher taxes and lower property values.

A suburban tax base can’t support a city.

We believe:

Citizens should have the right to form villages.

Everyone should have equal access to affordable housing.

We pledge we will bring open, fair, and equal access to Ramapo Town government.

Support Preserve Ramapo in November!
